Warhammer World visitor centre is located at Warhammer’s Head Office, which is about 2 miles south-west of Nottingham City Centre. We’re very easy to reach from the city centre and train station.
Warhammer World’s postcode is NG7 2WS, and we’re in Lenton, Nottingham. The city of Nottingham is in the UK, located in the East Midlands, 120 miles north of London, 50 miles north-east of Birmingham.
If you’re spending some time in Nottingham, why not also visit our Nottingham city centre store on Friar Lane, close to the city centre?
Nottingham Station and East Midlands Parkway have regular services from all over Britain. Travelling between London and these stations takes about 1 3/4 hours, and there is a regular train service between East Midlands Parkway and Nottingham train station. See advice below for further travel options once you reach Nottingham city centre.
Gregory Street is the closest tram stop to Warhammer World, using the Toton Lane branch of the tram. The tram runs frequently from Nottingham city centre and train station, and further afield with Park and Ride options on the city outskirts. Tickets for the tram must be purchased before using it, either online or from tram stops.
The closest regular bus stops are known as Abbey Bridge and Gregory Street, both located on Abbey Street. More buses also stop a 10/15 minute walk away at a series of stops near Dunkirk Roundabout. Buses are run by different companies, with the Trent Barton Skylink Nottingham being the closest regular bus.
From Nottingham city centre you can take a 20 to 30 minute 1.5 mile stroll or cycle along the canal walkway. It’s even shorter if your hotel is at Castle Marina.
Check on maps first to make sure you’re walking in the correct direction! To walk from Nottingham city centre starting near the train station, travel along the canal path with the canal to your right, pass/walk under 4 bridges, and once you pass under a 5th bridge marked with a commemorative Lenton Lane plaque, head up the steps to your left to rejoin the road. Turn right and we’re just along the road.
Bicycle parking is available in our car park, and we advise you to use your own appropriate anti theft lock device.
From Nottingham city centre or the train station, a taxi ride takes about 10 minutes (depending on traffic). Ask to go to Warhammer World, Willow Road, NG7 2WS (not the shop on Friar Lane!)
Free on-site parking is provided for visitors, in front of Warhammer World’s main entrance. Accessible parking spaces are available close to the main entrance. If you require special parking or a drop off point, such as for a minibus or coach, please contact us in advance. Motorbike parking is available to the right of the car park, under the Bugman’s Bar balcony, and we advise you to use your own appropriate anti theft lock device.
If you have trouble finding a parking space during busy periods, just find somewhere safe to pull in, and ask our helpful Security Team to the inside left of the car park entrance.
Two EV charging points are available in our car park – located opposite Bugman’s bar balcony. Stroll around Warhammer World while these 22kw fast charging points take care of your car. You should be able to see online details for, and use, the charging points when you arrive at them in person, but if you have any issues just ask our team.
