Warhammer World visitor centre is located at Games Workshop’s Head Office, which is about 2 miles south-west of Nottingham City Centre. We are very easy to reach from the city centre and train station.

Games Workshop’s Head Office, which incorporates our Warhammer World visitor centre, is located about 2 miles south-west of Nottingham city centre. We are very easy to reach from the city centre and train station.
Nottingham Station and East Midlands Parkway have regular services from all over Britain. Travelling between London and these stations takes about 1 3/4 hours, and there is a regular train service between East Midlands Parkway and Nottingham train station. See advice below for further travel options once you reach Nottingham train station in Nottingham city centre.
The tram runs frequently from Nottingham city centre and train station, and further afield with Park and Ride options on the city outskirts. The Toton Lane branch runs past Warhammer World, and Gregory Street is the closest tram stop to Warhammer World.
Tickets for the tram must be purchased before using it, either online or from tram stops. Combination tickets are available to use on both the tram and selected bus companies. They also offer discounted group and family tickets during certain times.

The closest regular bus stops are known as Abbey Bridge and Gregory Street, both located on Abbey Street. More buses also stop a 10 minute walk away at a series of stops near Dunkirk Roundabout. Buses are run by different companies, with the Trent Barton Skylink bus being the closest regular bus. You can find the Skylink details here.
Some buses require exact change when purchasing a ticket. Combination tickets are available to use on both the tram and selected bus companies. Some bus companies offer discounted group and family tickets during certain times.
You can plan public transport travel by all companies by planning a journey to “Dunkirk (Nottingham), Gregory Street (stop)” using the Traveline East Midlands website. This will suggest journeys including bus, tram, and short walks.
You can take a 20 to 30 minute 2 mile stroll or cycle along the canal walkway. It’s even shorter if your hotel is at Castle Marina.
Check on maps first to make sure you’re travelling in the correct direction! Walk from Nottingham city centre along the canal path with the canal to your right, and once you pass under the bridge marked with a commemorative Lenton Lane plaque, head up the steps to your left to rejoin the road. Turn right and we’re just along the road!
Bicycle parking is available to the left of the car park, and we advise you use your own appropriate anti theft lock device.
From Nottingham city centre or the train station, a taxi ride takes about 10 minutes (depending on traffic), and should cost about £6. Ask to go to Games Workshop, Willow Road (not the shop on Friar Lane!)
Free on-site parking is provided for visitors, in front of Warhammer World. If you require special parking, such as for a minibus or coach, please contact us in advance to ensure we have suitable space. Motorbike parking is available to the right of the car park, under the Bugman’s Bar balcony, and we advise you use your own appropriate anti theft lock device.
If you have trouble finding a parking space during busy periods, just find somewhere safe to pull in, and ask our helpful Security team to the inside left of the car park entrance.
Nottingham lies just east of the M1 motorway, which runs up the middle of the country, from London to Leeds. Leave the motorway at junction 24 or 25. You can also get to Nottingham by leaving the M1 at junction 26, and heading south down the A610. This road can get very busy, especially at peak times, so you may find it quicker to travel an extra junction down the motorway.
Warhammer World can also be reached via the M42 (from Birmingham) and the A1.
